Gold jewelery was found from many graves here. And it is believed that these tombs would have belonged to the members of the royal family. In tomb number 36, archaeologists found 850 gold items, including crowns, earrings, necklaces, belts, bracelets and many more.
1.5 kg gold ornaments found in a grave
According to the report, the total weight of the gold artifacts found so far from the treasury is more than 6.5 kg. The remains of grave number 43 show that it must have been the grave of a male aged 40 to 45, whose height is said to be 5 feet 6-8 inches. Maximum 1.5 kg gold ornaments have been found from this grave. Archaeologists believe that it may have been the tomb of the king. Because only a king can have so many ornaments in a man. However, the complete excavation of this area has not yet been done. Archaeologists tried a few days ago but have not been completely successful.
